Dear Friends of Mercy,
We couldn’t thank you more for having walked with us throughout the challenging year of 2009. Whilst there was mayhem around the region, we in Singapore are blessed with stability and peace.
The economic downturn may have hit our pockets, but many Singaporeans have followed their hearts where it mattered. The outpour of donations from all quarters showed the heart of Singapore . While some may have reduced their contributions, what’s important is that we have not stopped giving to the less fortunate around us.
If we could care for strangers (in the region), then caring wouldn’t be strange (amongst us). Together, we can cultivate a more grateful and gracious society.
We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful 2010, filled with true happiness, compassion, pinker health and prosperity.
