Over the past two months, Mercy Relief’s personnel have been back on the ground to continue with relief efforts in the quake devastated areas of Padang and typhoon-hit Vietnam and the Philippines.
In the months ahead, MR will be expanding its engagment into the rehabilitation and reconstruction phase.

The 7-member medical relief team jointly deployed by Mercy Relief and SingHealth institutions returned on Saturday, 17 Oct from Padang, having completed their eight-day tour of duty there, addressing the nedical needs of the quake victims.

Mercy Relief’s 6-member response team returned from the Philippines on Wednesday 7 Oct having delivered and distributed essential supplies to the communities hit by Typhoon Ketsana.
